User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Don’t thank me – thank the knife!
You probably wouldn’t want to fend off a bear or anything with this knife. But that’s fine, because I work in the server room and barely ever see the outdoors. I wanted a knife that was the perfect mix of size and usability, and this fits the bill. It’s the best “every day” multi-function knife I’ve owned.

I use the screwdrivers on computer cases, the knife to cut open packages, and the scissors to snip stray threads off my nerdy polo shirts. I’ll admit I don’t use the nail file much, but my wife is always borrowing it in the car. Oh, and the bottle opener comes in very handy AFTER work for the requisite heavy drinking that comes with a career in IT.

I highly recommend this little gadget, and the day I lose mine will be a sad one indeed. I’m glad they still make them!

4 Stars Good little tool
This is a pretty good little knife. I’ve always had great luck with Victorinox products. My only complaint is that the LED is red; a white LED would make it perfect.

5 Stars Functional, sturdy knife
purchased this mostly for the nice fillips screw driver built in, but have used the scissors, blade, and LED light many times as well. This is small enough to carry with you all the time, and the flimsy flat blade screwdriver, and fairly heavy duty fillips come in handy on a regular basis, mostly for computer cases, and internals for me. I owned it for just a day before one of my technicians decided he would get more use out of it, so I ordered three more – 2 for other technicians, and one for me. Very handy product.

5 Stars Everything I want in a pocket knife
One day I found myself wondering why my standard Swiss Army Knife didn’t have a beer cap opener on it. I also thought how great it would be if it had a light built into it since I am always trying to consolidate my keychain. So I went in search of my perfect pocket knife and found it!

I use every single thing on this knife and never find myself wishing I had more.

+Scissors are a constant go-to for snipping off tags and such

+Knife is sharp and great of cutting open blister packs

+Bottle opener works alright (hard to explain but you have to pry up on the cap a few times to get it off but it works well enough)

+Philips head screw driver has been exteremly handy a couple times already

+Pen is great for jotting down notes (although I often forget I have it)

+Nail file is completely useless to me but I use it to pry things open a lot of times.

-Light is the one weak point on this great tool. Its useless at more than a couple feet, my phone makes a better light than this thing does. I think if it was a white light it would be loads better.

5 Stars A Classic And So Handy
Everyone should know that the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife is very well constructed and durable. I use mine every day.

Gripmaster Pro Hand Strengthening System Medium Tension 7 Pounds per Finger

Gripmaster Pro Hand Strengthening System Medium Tension 7 Pounds per Finger

The Gripmaster Pro isolates and strengthens each finger individually, helping you improve your overall strength, endurance, and dexterity. A few daily workouts with the Gripmaster Pro and you’ll enjoy better control of a baseball/softball bat, tennis racquet, or golf club, with each finger working in seamless unity with the others. You’ll also find a ton of other uses for the Gripmaster Pro, including playing guitar or violin, rock climbing, bowling, target shooting, martial arts, yoga, or even relieving stress while clicking a mouse or gaming for hours on end.

To keep things interesting and to accommodate certain uses, the company recommends several different exercises, including the “fingertip pinch,” “flatfist,” “powergrip,” “wristflex,” and “thumbpinch,” most of which are explained on the Gripmaster website. Best of all, you can work out anytime and anywhere with the Gripmaster Pro, which fits neatly in your pocket when not in use. This particular version of the Gripmaster Pro offers a medium tension of 7 pounds per finger–a recommended tension for average strength hands.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars GripMaster Pro
Does the job required and the web based exercise program guidance makes all the difference.

4 Stars Gripmaster Hand strebgthening Systen
The best grip strengthening tool I’ve tried. I use it for my golf grip. The key is holding it for about 3 seconds between each rep.

5 Stars Works Great
Love using it at work. I can already tell a difference in grip. Recommended highly.

5 Stars Sweet and a good strees relief
I did not get a good workout out of it but thats why they made higher level ones…

great for releaving strees.

5 Stars great
I have been using this for about 2 weeks. I bought this because during my work out in the gym, my hands(fingers, wrists) always get fatigue very quick, and I can not perform chin-up and weight lifting well and adequate.

I recommend the 7 pound pro to teenage males as a begining device. I found it challenging to do the individual finger

grip at first, but don’t give up so quick and go for a lighter one. My suggestion is to do the whole hand grip for some time, and you’ll soon develope the strength required for finger grip.(in my case, less than 1 week)

Another tip, you need to be persistent but not pushy when do the gripping, leave your hands alone for recovery if they get fatigued.

Victorinox Swiss Army Rambler Pocket Knife

Victorinox Swiss Army Rambler Pocket Knife

Small blade. Scissors. Nail file with screwdriver tip. Cap lifter with magnetic Phillips screwdriver tip & wire stripper. Toothpick. Tweezers. Key ring. 2.3” (58mm) long.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars A User…
The “Rambler” is better than the “Classic” (I own two)for one simple reason, if you keep your little knife on a key-chain: its blade is situated opposite the key-ring, so that you can use it effectively while the keys are still attached. Philips head screws are everywhere, and often loose, and as far as the beer bottle opener…I’m there.

5 Stars the perfect pocket knife
I’m on about my 10th one of these. This is the perfect pocket knife. It’s small enough so that you never notice that it’s in your pocket. It’s got a phillips screwdriver that amazingly works on just about any phillips screw large or small, scissors, bottle opener, tweezers and toothpick. I use this for something or other just about every day, can’t tell you how handy it is.

5 Stars Perfect knife
I had a similar Victorinox that the TSA confiscated, but this one is much better, as it has a bottle opener. I use mine all the time and keep it on my keychain. The only way I could see it improving would be for it to be available in other colors (my old one was black) or for a model that the TSA allows you to keep on your keychain when boarding a plane. :-D

5 Stars Great little knife
Great little knife – small, compact, and sturdy. I gave the Letherman Squirt S4 a shot, and it failed. The scissors were loose and couldn’t cut air. It’s hard to beat Swiss Army.

5 Stars Excellent Product
Absolutely the best small knife I’ve every found. Durable with all of the right tools for quick fixes.

    5 Stars Excellent product
I am very happy with my Bushnell Neo golf GPS. I have been able to download lots of courses that I wanted and the few that were not available I just have to visit the course and plot myself before I can use it. I bought one for a friend as well and forgot to change it to metres instead of yards and change the WAAS setting at first so wondered why I was getting 2 different readings, but once I realized what was wrong and changed these it was spot on with the distances. The instructions weren’t great but playing with things is always the best way to work out how to use it.

5 Stars Great product and FUN to use!
This GPS gives the perfect amount of information for the everyday golfer, and even for more advanced players. It is easy to use and set up. I love the fact that I can dowload up to 100 courses, and I don’t have to renew my membership each year unless I need a different course. One of the things I really like, is that you can see how far you actually hit the ball (I’m sure all GPS systems are like that…but NOT rangefinders!) One final note…I’m not the type of person that likes having something clipped to my belt, like a cell phone. However, this is how i carry this GPS, and I can’t even tell its there. It’s so slim and light, you dont even notice it until you need it. Great product, at half the price of many GPS systems or even rangefinders.

4 Stars Neo GPS – simple to set up and use – works well and is a good value
The Neo is small, easy to set up and use. It has worked well in 4 states and is very accurate – nothing fancy -just good basic info on distance.

So far battery life has been excellent.

5 Stars Great product at reasonable price.
Great product at reasonable price. Tested on a number of courses, except for the courses that had changed recently, it works fine. The support team at iGolf are prompt and helpful.

4 Stars Horrible Installation but Nice Little Device
I received this device and tried to install it in my new Windows Vista 64 computer. It comes with Vista 64 drivers. Don’t try this yourself at home. It is hazardous to your health and will not work. After numerous attempts, de-installs and re-installs it did not work. I felt stupid when I read other reviews that said it would not work on Vista 64, packaged it up and got a return ticket from Amazon. I decided to call Bushnell support in the morning. The tech was very seasoned and helped me to install the device in about 30 minutes after deleting Java and reinstalling it and opening just the right file in the right order, which is like assembling a trick jigsaw puzzle. But he was an expert…I’m sure he has a lot of experience. The Bushnell tech support was awesome. The guy was good and believe me he needs to be. I easily downloaded a few courses and have used the device a couple rounds now. I think its a nice little device for the price and helps me enormously with the yardage. I played 18 holes yesterday and it worked flawlessly and was still at 80% charge.

The installation instructions are the worst I have ever seen, a real nightmare. My brother worked for a GPS company for a year and tells me these devices have an incredible markup. For the low price of this device and the bare bones info it provides on the course, I am satisfied. It’s more than I had before and helps with club selection. I’m happy I kept it.

Victorinox Swiss Army Golf Tool With Callaway Golf Balls

Victorinox Swiss Army Golf Tool With Callaway Golf Balls

    ;

    User Ratings and Reviews

    5 Stars Christmas Present
I gave this as a Christmas present. The second it was nice enough to start golfing again I got a call saying how amazing it is. Great for the price!

    4 Stars golf tool
well made, looks great and works well. the golf balls even have the Victorinox logo on them !!

    5 Stars Great golf tool…..
I bought this for my husband for his birthday. I don’t know anything about golf, but he’s a fanatic and he loved it! I think his favorite feature is the case that slips onto his belt. That way he can always be prepared…like a boy scout?? Anyway – great gift!

    5 Stars Great Product
I just purchased this item and have used it on every Golf outing since its purchase. I had read that some had trouble keeping the ball marker in place, I have had no such trouble. The onl problem I see is having to clean dirt off the divot tool before retracting the tool.

5 Stars This Victorinox Swiss Army Golf tool is absolutely worth every penny!
I had my first one for about two years before it fell out of my pocket at my local course. I immediately went home and bought another one here on Amazon. I play about 50 rounds a year so that’s a testament to the quality of the tool. Sliding the divot tool out of its holster is just plain cool ;-)

Golf Gifts and Gallery 62 Windbuster Umbrella

Golf Gifts and Gallery 62 Windbuster Umbrella

Protect yourself or your clubs from high winds and heavy rains with the 62-inch Windbuster umbrella. Featuring a sturdy fiberglass shaft and a high-quality nylon cover, the Windbuster umbrella is tough enough for virtually any application. Plus, at 62 inches across, the umbrella is large enough to protect up to two people at once. The Windbuster carries a 90-day warranty.

    User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars This umbrella has a very strong smell
OK so I haven’t actually used this umbrella yet. It is HUGE and my compact, purse size one has been much more handy so far. However, some day I’ll use it and I have high expectations. It seems very sturdy and large enough for 2, maybe 3 people to huddle under.

One thing that I found distinctive about this umbrella is its strong odor. Seriously, I put the thing in the backseat of my car and my car smelled of new car all over again.

    5 Stars Great deal
This was a great deal. It is very sturdy, very big, and nice to have on a rainy day. It was a lot less expensive than other smaller umbrellas that were being sold. The only downside I have noticed with this umbrella is the hand grip. The hand grip is made out of some kind of a rubber that has a strange odor. It does not really smell bad, but it is weird and will make your hand smell like the rubber when you use the umbrella. The smell has definitely faded in the few weeks I have had it so I suspect that it will fade completely in time. But in my opinion, it is worth having an odd smelling hand on rainy days for a few weeks for the money you save buying this product.

    5 Stars Stay dry
Very sturdy umberella. Great price. Have used it a few times in the windy weather and it has stood up. Also can have another person under with you if needed.

1 Star Golf Gifts & Gallery 62″ Umbrella
This umbrella does not provide 62 inches of coverage as the advertisement

leads you to believe. The 62 inches are across the crown not the width. I

called about the first one I received and complained that the coverage was only about 48 inches, not 62. The customer service rep. told me the 48 wide was shipped in error and he would indeed ship me one that covered 62 inches. The replacement he sent was exactly like the first one, about 48 inches of coverage, not 62. This is a good umbrella, but I can buy almost the identical umbrella locally for $12.00 and no shipping charge.

I am returning one of the umbrellas, however I am less than satisfied about the whole deal.I feel that if you are gong to advertise a 62 inch umbrella it should cover 62 inches.I really didn’t need another 48 inch umbrella as I have four or five lying around. I wanted the additional coverage for a specific purpose. James Barber 103 Windy Lake Cove,Vicksburg,Ms 39183

    2 Stars Awful smell…
It’s a decent enough umbrella. Nice and big. However it doesn’t telescope and the whole thing reeks of rubber/polymers and will make your hands and other things smell. You can leave it outside on a balcony to air out, but it won’t do much.

    User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars SWAMI 1500 worth the money
Bought the SWAMI 1500 because all I really need is distance numbers; front, back and center. Three of my playing partners spent between $275 and $450 on GPS units to get the same yardage information. Granted the SWAMI doesn’t post your scores, do statistical analysis of your game, have a color display, show the shape of the green and all the other trick stuff. Just give me the number so I can get the ball on the green.

For $125 it is well worth the money. There was a local course that was not mapped yet and within 6 days after requesting I received an email saying it was ready to go. Great service.

5 Stars Izzo Swami 1500 Golf GPS
I bought the unit and received it in a very timely manner. The unit was easy to program by downloading courses onto it from the website. There is a $10 annual fee for access the website in order add course downloads and software updates (cd and instructions included with the unit). You are not required to renew every year. The unit holds up to 10 coarses, which you can change if you desire or you can just have the 10 and never have need to access the website again. There were two courses I wanted that were not listed. I requested and they were mapped with 4-5 days. I was notified they were available and I added them to the unit without any trouble. I used my unit on a course that had GPS in the cart and the Swami unit read within 5 yards of the yardage noted on the cart’s GPS system(for my game, that is close enough).I recommend this unit as an excellent value for the money.

    5 Stars Glad I switched
I had skycaddie and it was constantly having problems with the yardages. It was painful to have to pay for a subscription again for a product that worked about 50% of the time. So when I saw the SWAMI I went for it figuring it would cost about the same as a couple of years subscription to skycaddie. I play the same courses most of the time so I doubt I will need to do an update beyond the 10 I download. The device works great. Easy to read and front, center, back of the green is really all I need. I found the install easy once I had read others reviews and realized I needed to follow directions carefully. I think this is a great value.

5 Stars Best GPS value for the money on the market!
So I just got done using the Swami for a quick 9 hole run, because I was anxious to see how it would perform.

Upon completion of the round I am happy to say that I am VERY pleased. Not only did the Swami do as advertised,

I was able to shoot one of my lowest scores of the season so far with it. The yardages it gives are very accurate

and the best part in my opinion is that it doesn’t take a huge amount of time to “settle” down when you get to your

ball to acquire a yardage, which helps with your pace of play. (Unlike the skycaddie which takes a fair amount of time to “settle” on a yardage.)

The $35 activation fee is definitely reasonable in my opinion as well, because it’s really only a one-time fee if you choose. You

can download 10 courses that you play on a regular basis and then that’s really all you need, unless you travel a lot.

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this GPS to both amateurs and scratch golfers alike. It’s probably the BEST GPS for the money on the market right now.

5 Stars Best bang for the buck
Simply put, this is the best deal on an entry level golf gps out there. All it does is lock onto the satelites fast, recognize the course you are playing without any input from you, and tell you how far you are from the center, back or front of the green. It updates constantly as you move, and all you have to do is hit the ^ button after each hole, advancing it to the next one. The readout is large enough to see from quite a distance, so you can clip it to the cart when carts are allowed on the grass, but it’s more than small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket. If you are good enough to need distances to all the hazzards on each hole, and are willing to pay at least twice as much, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this unit this close to $100 is the bomb. Be sure the wall charger is included, ’cause some vendors are lowballing this unit without telling you it isn’t in the box. (Charging it with the computer cable included requires that your computer and their software is running, and this can be a bit of a bother sometimes.) Their annual course download fee is only 10$, not the 35$ everyone else wants. It only holds 10 courses at a time, but downloading others is a snap and they will map any course for you that they don’t already have. (they had all the ones I wanted already mapped) The charge lasts 12 hours, but you do have to be responsible enough to turn it off when you are done, something Izzo might consider correcting in the future with an auto off feature.
